To All, In view of all the erroneous information you are being bombarded with regarding the Armonk Square project, we wanted to make sure you received the facts about the project timely. While it is apparent that the emails are emanating from people against Bill Weaver, Mike Schiliro and Steve D’Angelo, the message they contain couldn’t be further from the actual truth.
August 30, 2011 I don't know that you are even aware of Becky Kittridge, Rich Fon and Jamie Norris are staying up all night, sleeping in chairs, answering phones all night long to some mean and nasty callers. Even tonight, Billy Weaver and Rich Fon, on his day off, were at the highway office. Bill Weaver did not invite Irene to this town yet, some people are blaming him, the highway department and the police for everything that has happened.
They are doing an outstanding job over and above what normal rational people could and should expect. Most of them are working so many hours that they are ready to fall on their faces. Con Ed is totally overwhelmed and they don't have enough manpower for the magnitude of work that Irene bestowed upon us and many others. We can play the blame game. It won't help.
Why am I only hearing negative? We should be thankful and appreciative for what is being done. We should take the time to say thank you when we see them. Honk and thumbs up, not scream, yell and curse. Many of the employees and officials are our neighbors. Their lights are out, their trees are down. We are a community that should know respect and consideration that will you get you a lot further. We are all frustrated and our patience is wearing down but, we should remember how lucky we are compared to so many other towns.

The lack of mention or police presence on High Street is very disturbing. Barely north of Greenway Road, there are six very large trees being held up by power lines. Cars continue to drive under the hanging trees. I consider this a very life threatening situation and I truly hope that nobody is killed, but I will not be surprised in the least if someone is.
I am extremely disappointed that nothing is being done about those trees except for a Con Ed car sitting there with the road taped off. Everyone keeps driving by and going under the trees. It will be towns responsibility if someone gets killed as it is clearly being ignored. Yes, everyone is busy and people need to get home. I hope the work on 128, 120 and 22 was life threatening, otherwise the priority of the work is out of whack.

September 1, 2011 We were fortunate to get Electric power back on Tuesday night after not having it since Saturday. But Cable did not come back until tonight (Thursday). It was a very isolating experience. The most upsetting part was that when I called Con Ed and Cable most of the people I spoke to were unsympathetic and had no accurate information. They were evasive and not truthful. I was told, as well as it being on all their recordings, that they were working 24/7. My husband and I took a ride after 4 calls yesterday (Wednesday) to cable with no answers, north on 22 into Bedford into Mt. Kisco and back to Armonk a different way. We looked down side roads also. We did not see 1 truck from Con Ed or Cablevision. We did see several trucks from Verizon.
Yes, they got people from other states to come in which seems impressive but not enough people. Also, during the day saw several situations where they had 1 or 2 men SITTING by an obvious problem like a downed wire doing nothing. After driving by back and forth from where I was going and seeing same men in the same position I felt frustrated by lack of organized work force.
Have been told by someone who works for Con Ed that they shut down "grids" to use for other reasons and put them back on at their discretion. THIS should be outlawed. So, some people may have NO problem, but lose their food, ability to work, and live comfortably so Con Ed does not have to invest money into more grids!

Dear Supervisor Weaver and Members of the Town Board of North Castle,
